Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Simply Fluent OÜ, the company that makes Breeze. They cover the Breeze apps, Breeze Pro, and the breezeit.app website. By installing or using Breeze, you agree to them.
The short version
- Breeze is provided as-is. Use it for things that are legal where you are.
- You are responsible for the files you send and the devices you send them to.
- We don't store your files and can't recover them if something goes wrong.
- Store purchases follow Apple's or Google's refund rules. Purchases on breezeit.app can be canceled within 14 days.
- A Pro purchase comes with seats you can give to other devices, on any platform.
Who we are
Breeze is made by Simply Fluent OÜ, registry code 16344322, VAT number EE102427442, Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia. Email: hello@breezeit.app.
Using Breeze
Breeze lets you transfer files between devices on a local network. You may use it for any lawful purpose. You agree not to use Breeze to send content you don't have the right to share, to harass others, or to circumvent laws in your country.
Device names, trust preferences, and transfer history are stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device secure.
Breeze Pro
Breeze is free on every supported platform. Breeze Pro is an optional upgrade with two plans: Pro, with six seats, and Family, with twelve. Both are yearly subscriptions. The price is shown before you buy.
In the App Store and Google Play, the subscription renews every year until you cancel it in your store account. After you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the year you paid for. Refunds follow the store's rules, and only Apple or Google can issue them.
Pro works on every device signed in to the store account you bought with, without using a seat. If you bought Pro in the App Store, Apple's standard license agreement also applies: Apple Standard EULA.
Purchases on breezeit.app
Some purchases, including Pro for the Windows app, go through a checkout on breezeit.app. They are sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe company, which handles the payment, tax, and refunds. Your receipt names the seller.
You can cancel a purchase made on breezeit.app within 14 days of getting it, without giving a reason, and get a full refund. Ask Link support at support.link.com. A refund ends the license.
After 14 days, email us about a refund. A refunded purchase ends the license.
Seats
A seat is Pro on one device outside the store account you bought with. Pro has six seats and Family has twelve. You can give a seat to any device, on any platform, including devices that belong to other people.
A device asks for a seat by linking to a device that already has Pro, on the same local network, and you approve it on that device. A license can add at most five devices in any 30 days.
Any device with a seat can see the seat list and remove any seat. A device with a seat has to reach our license service at least once every 30 days to keep Pro. A seat that has not checked in for 45 days stops counting toward the limit, and after 180 days it is deleted.
The recovery phrase
A license can have a recovery phrase of eight words. Entering it in Breeze on an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Android device takes over the license: every seat is removed, that device gets the first seat, and a new phrase replaces the old one.
Anyone who has the phrase can do this, so keep it private. We cannot show you a lost phrase. If you bought in the App Store or Google Play, the same screen can use your store purchase instead of the phrase.
When a license ends
When a subscription ends, or a purchase is refunded or charged back, the license and every seat lose Pro. Devices with a seat drop to free within 30 days.
We may end a license that was paid for with a fraudulent payment or used to break these terms.
Open source components
Breeze is interoperable with LocalSend v2 and includes open-source libraries. License notices are available inside the app under Settings → About.
Disclaimer
Breeze is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Transfers depend on your local network and the receiving device. We don't guarantee delivery, speed, or uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost files, corrupted files, or incidental damages arising from your use of the apps.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for intent or gross negligence, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
