About Breeze

Breeze sends anything to any device in the room, yours or anyone's, and keeps files in sync between the devices you choose. It is built for people with a mix of devices who want them to work as one system.

The story

Marco Ivarsson develops Simply Fluent, a cross-platform language learning app, so he works across Apple and Android every day. He was always finding workarounds to move files and screenshots between them. Slack messages to himself. Emailing screenshots off Android. Dropover and AirDrop between Macs and iPhones. None of it was built for doing this dozens of times a day.

He started exploring whether it could be simpler, first with prototypes to test how it should look and feel. While researching how the transfers should work, he found the LocalSend protocol, which millions of people already use. It was exactly what he needed. Breeze grew from there.
